Calling All Pool Experts!

I've been trying for a while to find a good, standard source of actions to take to correct the balance of a pool. For example a table that say put in X amount of chlorine when there is Y chlorine in a pool of size Z gallons.

I think what I really want is in the APSP-11 Standard for Water Quality in Public Pools. However, I am looking for a cheaper (or hopefully free) option that I could integrate into Pool Advisor.

Anyone know of a good source? I don't want to put poor quality information into Pool Advisor just for the sake of having something in there.

Please let me know if you have any ideas! Comment here or email pooladvisor@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Pool Advisor Version 2.7 released!

A quick update from 2.6.

Based on multiple requests, I added a note field to the Test Pool page. The note will show up in the logs and exports as well.

I also fixed a bug with the Custom Test field on the Test Pool page. Since nobody reported it yet, I'm hoping it wasn't an issue for anyone!

Pool Advisor 2.6 released!

At long last, a new update for Pool Advisor!

In this release, all version of Pool Advisor get the addition of Pool Pressure as a testing option.

In the Pro and Paid versions, you can now access 5 custom fields each for testing and inventory!

Use the General Settings to change what they are named and then in the Pool Settings you can turn them on or off for each pool.

These ideas came from user feedback. If you have any other ideas I'd love to hear them! I'd also appreciate and ratings or feedback in the Android Market.

Thanks for your support!

Pool Advisor version 2.5

Pool Advisor version 2.5 was released this morning! In this release, you can now track the chemicals you are using and view them in a log. Previously you could enter the chemicals, but not have a history.

Coming up in the next release will be custom fields for Inventory and in the testing areas (Paid and Pro versions only).

Let me know if you have any other ideas for Pool Advisor!

Pool Advisor 2.4 released!

Some new features to tell you about. The biggest change is the addition of charting to the app! You can now view charts of each test that you do for your pool (or pools if you are using the Pro version).

Also added in this version is tracking of water temperature and warning for low inventory levels (the Pro version already got this feature in version 2.3).

What to expect in the next couple of (planned) versions:
Version 2.5 - Tracking/logging of chemicals used when treating pools
Version 3.0 - Suggested corrective action after testing your pool

If you think of anything else you'd like to see now that we're getting close to pool season, let me know!
